Survival.

The most intimate bond in the universe.
How do you think you’ll survive without it?
An affection warmer than that of a dog and his master.
A concern graver than that of a mother.
How do you think you’ll survive without it?
Love deeper than that of a husband.
Care even more heartfelt than that of a sister.
How do you think you’ll survive without it?
Laugh heartier than that due to a comedy artist.
Smile wider than that due to your elder brother’s wedding.
How do you think you’ll survive without it?
A sleep more peaceful than what you get after your exams are over.
A nap more soothing than what you get after coming home from school.
How do you think you’ll survive without it?
A cry more gloomy than that due to the loss of a grandparent.
An anxiousness more distressing than that due to your upcoming results.
How do you think you’ll survive without it.
While you need happiness to exist, you also need the cries to exist.
You cannot merely exist with happiness around you, not atleast in the 21st century of this Blue Planet.
Because when we talk about people, they are made of muscles and bones of physical strengths and weaknesses and a heart offering them emotional benefits and loopholes.
Without either, we’re incomplete, non existent.
Without either we cease to be us.
We’re humans, emotionless without our emotions.
We’re creatures, defective without our flaws.
We’re beings, egoistic without our love.
Surrounded by all the uphills and downhills of life, is a centre which craves bonds like these.
Ones of friendship.
Is survival possible without it?
Without the friendship that gives you the privilege of smiling and crying at the same time?

Life Is Afterall Beautiful.

  1. loved the structure around which you built this write-up. The questions after every two revelations would force us to rethink the purpose of this write-up. And then beautifully revealed in the end. Loved it. 🙂
